A great honour for a great goalscorer: Harry Kane was presented with the Gerd Müller Trophy for the best goalscorer at the 70th Ballon d’Or ceremony in London. The award has been given to the player who scored the most goals for club and country in the previous year since 2021, and in the previous season since 2022. The English star striker earned the prize, presented by French football magazine France Football, with 61 goals in 51 competitive appearance for FC Bayern.
