Can Harry Kane equal Cristiano Ronaldo’s Champions League record when Bayern visit Atlético Madrid?
Harry Kane’s goals have long been essential to Bayern’s success, but another against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday would take the reigning Ballon d’Or winner to historic levels. The 33-year-old has scored in each of his last 10 Champions League appearances. If he makes it 11 in a row at the Estadio Metropolitano, the Bayern striker would equal Cristiano Ronaldo’s competition record set between 2017 and 2018 for Real Madrid.
Another statistic in which Kane is already out ahead is the 37 goals in 41 Champions League games that he’s scored for Bayern. No other player has netted that many in the competition since England’s captain moved to Munich, ahead of Kylian Mbappé (33) and Erling Haaland (26).

Further facts on Atlético vs. Bayern
Two draws – Bayern have drawn their last two games in the Champions League (3-3 at Viking and 2-2 vs. Arsenal). The last time they drew three in a row in the competition was between October and December 2006.
Outright third place – Manuel made his 163rd appearance in the Champions League proper last time out, equalling Thomas Müller’s record for a German player. His next would see the goalkeeper go past Müller and also Lionel Messi to claim third place outright in the competition’s all-time appearance list.
Half centuries in sight – Jonathan Tah could make his 50th appearance in the Champions League. Kane has featured 49 times in the group stage/league phase of the Champions League, scoring 41 goals.
Unbeaten in 16 – Atlético haven’t lost at home to German opposition since a 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the 1996/97 group stage (W12, D4). The Madrid club have won each of the last four against Bundesliga teams, most recently beating Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 on Matchday 2 of last season.
