- Ninth win in the tenth Bundesliga game of the season
- Dallmann, Harder & Gwinn score
- Arsenal at the Allianz Arena next week
Impressive performance in the first encounter! FC Bayern Women recorded a convincing 4-0 (3-0) home win against 1. FC Union Berlin on Friday evening. Head coach José Barcala's side took a commanding lead in the first half with goals from Linda Dallmann in the 9th minute, Pernille Harder (19') and Giulia Gwinn (25'). In the second half, the Bavarians added one more to wrap up a deserved 4-0 win courtesy of an own goal by Union's Tomke Schneider (48').

Dallmann, Harder & Gwinn secure a deserved lead
The Munich side dominated the game from the outset and put the Irons under pressure early on in the match. Their dominance was rewarded in the tenth minute: Klara Bühl floated a cross into the penalty area that FCU goalkeeper Nadine Böhi was unable to hold onto. The ball ended up with Dallmann, who tucked the ball away from six metres out to put her side ahead. The double winners stayed in command from then on. With 17 minutes gone, Harder set up Momoko Tanikawa, but the Japan international failed to convert from close range. Just two minutes later though, the Reds got the 2-0 when Harder rose in the box to connect with a cross from Gwinn and head the ball home. Six minutes later, the Germany captain was herself rewarded: Bühl fired in another pin-point cross and the 26-year-old scored at the far post to make it 3-0 (25'). FCB almost scored again just before the break: Tanikawa had a free shot after some lovely link-up play, but her strike was too inaccurate (40').

Bayern record convincing home win
The second half began just as the first had ended. Gwinn played a low cross to Harder in the 48th minute, which Union's Tomke Schneider tried to clear. However, the Bayern full-back connected with the ball awkwardly and deflected it into the bottom right corner of her own goal. Bayern continued to dominate proceedings as the game progressed. Substitute Kathi Naschenweng attempted a spectacular long-range strike following a corner, but Böhi was on hand to clear brilliantly for another corner (61'). Bayern continued to press for a fifth goal, but Union defended deep and prevented any further chances. In the end, it was a commanding home win for the Munich side to consolidate their place at the top of the table.
