2022 is drawing to a close and FC Bayern Women are already focusing on 2023 and the upcoming Rückrunde. Winter training camp in Doha
Just one day after the start of training on Monday, 9 January, FC Bayern women will travel to the winter training camp in Doha from 10 to 15 January. For the first time, the women's team will prepare for the upcoming Rückrunde in Qatar parallel to the men's team led by head coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Women‘s Tour in Mexico
Following the six-day training camp in Doha, FC Bayern women will travel to Monterrey, Mexico. From 17 to 23 January, the Reds will be using part of the Women's Tour in Mexico to prepare for the upcoming Rückrunde. This includes a friendly against Mexican first division side Tigres Feminil in the 42,000-seater Estadio Universitario on 21 January.
League opener on the first weekend in February
After an intensive preparation phase, the Munich girls will play the last match of the Hinrunde (Matchday 11) against Turbine Potsdam on 5 February. The following weekend, Straus' side will host their closest rivals Eintracht Frankfurt (11 February) at the FC Bayern Campus. Afterwards, the Reds will travel to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for a DFB Cup quarter-final clash on 28 February.
