Jan-Christian Dreesen FC Bayern Women

Jan-Christian Dreesen, FC Bayern CEO: "On Monday the German women's national team start their World Cup campaign, and of course we've got our fingers crossed for our players Lina Magull, Lea Schüller, Klara Bühl and Sydney Lohmann. When all the World Cup participants are back here, they and the whole team can look forward to another big stage, because for the first time a Bundesliga match involving our women is being held at the Allianz Arena. It's the next and also logical step in the development of women's football at FC Bayern Munich."

Bianca Rech, head of FC Bayern's women's department: "We're very excited about our Bundesliga debut at the Allianz Arena, and we can again count on the support of a large number of fans in a big match against Eintracht Frankfurt. We're always thinking about when it makes sense to move from the FC Bayern Campus to the Allianz Arena. The time is now right for a league showpiece. With the experiences of our three appearances there so far, we're sure the match against Frankfurt will be another milestone.

Last season, FC Bayern Women played at the Allianz Arena in the Champions League against Barcelona and Arsenal, winning both games.

FCB Women contest the opening game of the new Bundesliga season on 15 September away to SC Freiburg. Before the big match against Eintracht on 14 October, the German champions have another home fixture against 1. FC Köln (29 September-2 October) as well as a trip to SGS Essen (6-9 October). The meeting with Frankfurt will also be a first outing at the Allianz Arena for all the team's summer signings, including Pernille Harder, Magdalena Eriksson and Sam Kerr.

Harder and Eriksson have already familiarised themselves with the Campus - soon it'll be the Allianz Arena!
