The new season starts here! FC Bayern Women started pre-season on Wednesday morning with the obligatory performance tests. Maxi Rall, Katharina Naschenweng and Co were tested in areas such as stamina, speed and agility.
Grohs: Excited about our new signings
Goalkeeper Maria Luisa Grohs is looking forward to the coming weeks: "I had a nice break but now I'm glad that it's starting again, that you're back fit and on the ball. I'm particularly excited about our new signings. We're a rather smaller group to begin with, so you can get to know each other well and settle back in without stress. Obviously there'll be some hard sessions too, but you always feel good after that."

Straus: Everyone's absolutely motivated
Boss Straus is also pleased to get back to work: "We've had a long time off, so everyone's been able to recover well. After the fantastic last campaign, everyone's ready again now. Everyone who's here is absolutely motivated. Now it's about preparing for the new season as well as possible and focusing on the important things."
Straus is also eager to see his new recruits: "Several new players have joined. It will be exciting to see how they settle in Munich."
