Maximiliane Rall has left FC Bayern Women at her own request. The club agreed to an early termination of her contract to allow a dream move to the USA to join the Chicago Red Stars in the National Women’s Soccer League. The 30-year-old made 60 appearances for Bayern following her summer 2021 arrival from Hoffenheim.
Rall: “Keeping my fingers crossed”
Rall departs with the following words of thanks: “I enjoyed countless lovely moments at Bayern, for which I’m very grateful – the title celebrations, important wins or games in big stadiums. But what I'll miss most are the little everyday situations when you come into the dressing room in the morning, meet the girls, have a good training session or simply have good conversations with all the people you get to know – all the interpersonal relationships. I wish the team that they all stay healthy and injury-free, that they never lose the fun of football and that they always enjoy playing. Then they will all achieve their goals, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the girls.”
