The reaction to the game at Wolfsburg
Herbert Hainer, president of FC Bayern: "Congratulations on the 4-0 win and this strong performance at VfL Wolfsburg, where we've finally managed to win again after a long drought. Now it's about continuing in this style - this is the path to a successful title defence. We're very proud of this team."
Alexander Straus: "The win means a great deal to us. Not many sides win here in Wolfsburg and certainly not by 4-0. We also know the game was closer than the scoreline suggests. If they score the first goal, then maybe it's a different story. Nevertheless, to win by such a clear margin in a top-of-the-table clash like this feels very good. I'm very proud of the team and also the many fans who came with us."
Sadrah Zadrazil: "It's the first time we've won here since I've been at Bayern. The first half was nip and tuck, and for us to then step on it and win 4-0 like we did is something special. It was hugely important that we cut out the Wolfsburg counters and were then effective going forward. I was very relieved after it got to 3-0. We were able to play with more freedom after that. It's gone very well for us since the turn of the year and I'm incredibly proud of the girls."
Klara Bühl: "It's always difficult for a goalkeeper when you go for goal directly from a corner, so my goal was definitely intended like that and I'm incredibly happy about it. We wanted to take the three points today in order to put ourselves in a great position for the final five matches. Both teams had big chances in the first half but we had more control after the break. We managed to be effective in front of goal again today. It's also crazy how many of our fans travelled - the appreciation you get here is really great."
Reaction from Wolfsburg
Tommy Stroot (VfL Wolfsburg head coach): "This was a real top-class match, which was even for a long time. There were several times when it could've tipped either way. After we went 1-0 down, we had to take more risks. We wanted to get three points today to keep ourselves right in the title race, but the crucial moments were all on Bayern's side today."
