Well played, girls! The German women's team won their final group game against Zambia at the Olympic football tournament in France to seal their place in the quarter-finals, where they face Canada.
The convincing 3-0 win over Australia, in which Lea Schüller bagged a goal and Giulia Gwinn set up two, was briefly tempered by the 4-1 defeat to USA. However, Horst Hrubesch's side bounced back in their closing group match with a 4-1 win to clinch second place in Group B.
