Senior Germany debuts for Alara Şehitler and Ena Mahmutovic
The Germany women's national team, featuring Bayern players Giulia Gwinn, Klara Bühl, Linda Dallmann, Lea Schüller, Ena Mahmutovic and Alara Şehitler, contested two friendlies against Switzerland and Italy. Coach Christian Wück's team impressed against the Swiss with a 6-0 victory, Schüller netting two of the goals. The two-time world champions then lost 2-1 to Le Azzurre. While 18-year-old Şehitler made her debut against Switzerland, Mahmutovic lined up between the posts for the senior team for the first time against Italy.
Laura Gloning and the Germany U23s beat their Spanish counterparts 3-0, before losing 2-1 to Belgium in their final match of the year.
Play-offs for EURO qualification
For Samantha Kerr with Scotland, Sarah Zadrazil with Austria, Linda Sembrant, Magdalena Eriksson and Julia Zigiotti with Sweden, Tuva Hansen with Norway, Weronika Zawistowska with Poland and Jovana Damnjanović with Serbia, there was the important matter of the second round of play-offs in qualifying for EURO 2025. FCB team-mates Zadrazil and Zawistowska came up against each other, as did Damnjanović and her three Swedish colleagues. Poland and Sweden came out on top, while Norway also prevailed against Northern Ireland.

Friendly win for Denmark
Pernille Harder and Denmark met Iceland in a friendly. The match against her Bayern team-mate Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir ended in a 2-0 win for Harder and Co.
Before that, the Icelanders led by FCB captain Viggósdóttir played out a goalless draw against Canada.
England with a draw and a win
Georgia Stanway and England faced USA and Switzerland in a pair of home friendlies. The clash with the world's top-ranked team ended goalless, before the Lionesses claimed a 1-0 victory over the Swiss.
Narrow defeat for Colombia
Ana Guzmán and the Colombian national team played a friendly against Argentina. After the contest couldn't be settled in regular time (1-1), the winner was determined by a penalty shootout, which Colombia lost 5-4.
