
FCB Women captain Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir has been chosen as the Icelandic Women's Footballer of the Year for the third time in a row. Viggósdóttir not only captains Bayern but also the Iceland national team, for whom she's made 132 senior international appearances to date and recently qualified for the European Championship again. The 29-year-old became a German champion with Bayern in 2024 following an unbeaten campaign, as well as winning the Supercup. Wolfsburg's Sveindís Jane Jónsdóttirvor came in second place, with FCB loanee Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir in third.
