Germany celebrate against Austria, late call-ups for Şehitler and Mahmutovic
The German national team, featuring FCB players Giulia Gwinn, Klara Bühl, Linda Dallmann, Lea Schüller, Ena Mahmutovic and Alara Şehitler kicked off their UEFA Women's Nations League campaign with two games.
In the first match, Germany faced the Netherlands. After an early goal from Lineth Beerensteyn, it was Schüller who scored the equaliser with a header after some good work from Bühl. After the break, the DFB Women added another, but the Dutch refused to give up and followed up with a second goal. In the end, national coach Christian Wück's side had to settle for a 2-2 draw in their Nations League opener.
In the clash against Austria, the German national team suffered an early shock when Annabel Schasching scored in the third minute of the match. After Laura Freigang equalised, it was substitute Dallmann who hit the ball on the spin and slotted the ball into the Austrian net in the 56th minute. Shortly afterwards, Dallmann was again involved when she provided the assist for Giovanna Hoffmann to make it 3-1. Vivien Endemann added another to make the final score 4-1 following an assist from FCB's Gwinn.

The Germany U23s played two friendlies in this break. In the match against England, FCB midfielder Şehitler scored a brace and was instrumental in the 3-2 win. After the match, both she and Bayern teammate Mahmutovic received late call-ups for the senior national team and left the squad ahead of the second match against the Netherlands.

Brief appearance for Zadrazil
Sarah Zadrazil celebrated a 1-0 win over Scotland with the Austrian national team in the Nations League. However, the FCB player suffered some muscular problems and had to withdraw from the squad ahead of the second match against Germany.

Clash between friends: Sweden win against Denmark
In Sweden's Nations League opener against Denmark, FCB players Magdalena Eriksson, Linda Sembrant and Julia Zigiotti Olme came up against teammate Pernille Harder. Sembrant scored the opener for Sweden in the 6th minute, before Harder converted a penalty to make it 1-1. The Swedish side were able to seal the victory with another goal in the second half.
The Swedes followed up the win with a match against Wales, which ended in a 1-1 draw. The Danes won their second game against Italy 3-1, with Harder scoring the final goal.

Caruso and Hansen in the starting XI
Ahead of the 3-1 defeat against Denmark, the Italian national team beat Wales 1-0. FCB newcomer Arianna Caruso played the full 90 minutes in both matches.
The Norwegians started their Nations League campaign with a 1-0 defeat against France, followed by a 2-1 win over Switzerland on Matchday 2. Munich's Tuva Hansen played the full 90 minutes in both matches.

Polish Women successful, Damnjanović scores
FCB player Weronika Zawistowska won both matches with the Polish national team against Northern Ireland (2-0) and Romania (1-0). In the game against Northern Ireland, the Munich player came off the bench in the 78th minute, against Romania she was substituted in the 90th minute.
FCB forward Jovana Damnjanović was in action for the Serbian national team. She scored the decisive goal against Finland from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute to make it 1-0 before being substituted on 70 minutes. The Serbs then drew 0-0 with Belarus. Damnjanović once again started the game and played the full 90 minutes.

FCB captain in action
Captain of the Icelandic national team and FCB Women Glódís Viggósdóttir ended her first matchday of the Nations League with a 0-0 draw against Switzerland before losing 3-2 to France in the second game. Viggósdóttir played the full 90 minutes in both games.

Tanikawa scores a dream goal in the SheBelieves Cup
The SheBelieves Cup is taking place in the USA parallel to the UEFA Nations League, with Australia, Japan and Colombia taking part alongside the hosts. Munich's Momoko Tanikawa was in the starting XI for Japan in their second match against Colombia and scored with a sensational long-range strike in the first minute of the game. Just seven minutes later, it was 2-0, with Tanikawa delivering the assist via a corner kick. The FCB player was substituted in the 69th minute and her side went on to win the game 4-1. On Thursday, Japan face the USWNT in the competition.
