FC Bayern Women can count on Alara Şehitler in the future! The midfielder has extended her contract with the German champions until 2027. Rech: 'Gifted technician'

Bianca Rech, director of women's football at FC Bayern: "We're very pleased that Alara has decided to spend more years at FC Bayern. She's already very advanced for her age. Alara is a gifted technician on the football field and it's great fun to watch her. Very few players her age have the physicality she has. It's become apparent already this season that the coach is using her more and more and also trusting her to start important matches. We're therefore convinced she can play a major role for our team in the coming years. It will be exciting to see how she develops in the future. Particularly from the summer, when she's finished school and can completely concentrate on football, it will be the start of a new stage in Alara's development."
Şehitler: 'Means a lot to me'

Alara Şehitler: "I was very happy when I signed my first contract at FC Bayern two years ago. Now, of course, I'm even happier to have extended it. FC Bayern are the biggest club in Germany, so it really means a lot to me that I'll continue to represent this club in the future. For me, making the move to Munich and to FC Bayern in 2023 was a very important step. I was able to settle in well in the first year and get to know professional football, now I'm getting more and more game time this season. I obivously want to build on that."
Bundesliga debut at 16
Şehitler begah her football career at SG Aulendorf. After spells in the youth teams of SV Weingarten and FV Ravensburg, the midfielder moved to the Bavarian state capital in summer 2023 and made her Bundesliga debut in the 3-0 win at Leipzig on Matchday 5 of the 2023/24 season. The creative player scored her first competitive goal for Alexander Straus' side in February 2024 in the 6-0 DFB Cup win against Kickers Offenbach. In the 3-2 success at Leverkusen in October last year, she netted her maiden Bundesliga goal with the winner in stoppage time. Şehitler, an U17 World Cup winner in 2022, made her senior debut for Germany in November 2024 in the 6-0 win in Switzerland.
