Rech: “An important personality”

Bianca Rech, FC Bayern Women director: "We're delighted with Caro's decision to remain part of the FC Bayern family. After her cruciate ligament injury, Caro has come back incredibly well and is an important personality - on and off the pitch"
Simon: “I’m in the right place here”

Carolin Simon: "I'm very glad I’ll continue to play for FC Bayern. I've been in Munich for a few years now and I just feel right here. That's why it wasn't a difficult decision for me, and the discussions with the club officials were also fantastic. For this reason, we quickly came to the decision that we want to continue on this path together. I love the team and the environment, I'm simply in the right place here."
Three Bundesliga titles in Munich
Simon was a reigning treble winner with Lyon when she made the move to FC Bayern Women in 2019. The left-back, whose lethal free-kicks are renowned in the league, has made 131 appearances for FCB (18 goals, 38 assists) in her five and a half years with the club. The 32-year-old has celebrated winning three Bundesliga titles in Munich (2021, 2023, 2024) as well as the 2024 Supercup. Simon has also made 22 appearances for the German national team and bagged a runners-up medal at the 2022 European Championship in England.
