




FC Bayern Women made history on Thursday afternoon by beating SV Werder Bremen 4-2 in the final of the DFB Cup. Having already secured the Bundesliga title at the weekend, head coach Alexander Straus’ side have been crowned double winners for the first time in the club’s history. Club president Herbert Hainer, CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and board member for sport Max Eberl congratulated the team on this outstanding success.

Herbert Hainer (FC Bayern president): “After the third consecutive championship, winning doubles is now also no longer just something for the men at FC Bayern. Congratulations on this historic success! This team is making history – their very own history, in the name of FC Bayern.”
