FC Bayern Women can continue to count on the experience of Arianna Caruso after the Italian international, who joined the double winners on loan from Juventus in February 2025, signed a permanent contract until 2028.

Caruso: ‘Want to take on responsibility’
Arianna Caruso: “Moving abroad wasn’t easy for me but I’ve been welcomed incredibly warmly at Bayern from day one. The team is not just extremely professional but also open and very close knit. I’m proud to be a part of this club. I want to keep growing, take on responsibility and contribute to us achieving our big goals together.”
Biana Rech, FC Bayern Women director: “Arianna has slotted into the team brilliantly since her arrival in the winter and doesn’t just bring great footballing quality but also a strong personality. In the forthcoming, challenging season, she’ll play an important role in our squad. With her technical quality, reading of the game and versatility, she’s a perfect fit for FC Bayern and we’re confident she’ll continue to fulfil her great potential with us.”

Leader with international experience
Caruso bolstered the Bayern Women midfield as a winter arrival from Italian champions Juventus and made her FCB debut on 9 February in the game against TSG Hoffenheim. The 25-year-old Italian has racked up 11 appearances since then. Caruso doesn’t just bring international experience but also an impressive trophy collection: in eight seasons at Juventus she won six Italian league titles as well as three Coppa Italia and three Super Cup titles. She also wore the captain’s armband for the Old Lady before her move to Munich. Caruso is a regular for her country, too. Since her debut in 2019, she’s made 59 international appearances for Italy and is in the squad for the upcoming European Championship.
Caruso can look forward to her first match at the Allianz Arena in September:
