Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir to move to Inter Milan

Karólína Lea Vilhjálmsdóttir is leaving FC Bayern Women and will join legendary Italian club Inter Milan for the coming season. The 23-year-old Iceland international has been on loan at league rivals Bayer 04 Leverkusen for the past two seasons.

Two-time German champion with FCB Women

Vilhjálmsdóttir arrived in Munich from Icelandic record champions Breiðablik Kópavogur in January 2021. She made a total of 37 appearances for the Reds, three of which were for the FCB Women's second team. During that time, she won two league titles with FCB Women. During the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, the Iceland international, who will also be involved in the European Championship in Switzerland, was on loan at Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
