Pernille Harder named FC Bayern Women Player of the Season 2024/25

Pernille Harder has been named by fans as FC Bayern Women’s Player of the Season for 2024/25. The Danish forward received 23.4 percent of votes from supporters to take the title ahead of Giulia Gwinn (16 percent) and Klara Bühl (14.4 percent). It’s a thoroughly deserved award after a really impressive campaign.

The 32-year-old was Bayern’s top scorer in the Bundesliga with 14 goals. Across all competitions, she struck 25 times, as well as providing 11 assists. The Dane played 1,764 minutes in the league, which was the most of any player for the Munich Frauen. She started 21 of her 22 appearances.

10 straight titles

Bundesliga glory in 2025 means Harder has now been a champion for the last decade, earning 10 straight league titles across spells with Linköpings in Sweden, Wolfsburg in Germany, Chelsea in England and now back-to-back crowns with Bayern.

Hat-trick Harder

Harder’s impact in front of goal played a big part in Bayern’s unprecedented domestic double. She hit hat-tricks in the 5-1 Bundesliga win over Hoffenheim and the superb opening 5-2 victory over eventual winners Arsenal in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

But perhaps her most crucial display came in the semi-finals of the DFB Cup, again against Hoffenheim, when she single-handedly overturned a 2-0 deficit to send Bayern into the final. Ultimately it was just one of many highlights for her and the team in a brilliant season.

Harder could play her first game at the Allianz Arena in September:
