FC Bayern midfielder Alara Şehitler sustained a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her left knee in training on Sunday. This was confirmed by tests in Munich. The injury will be treated conservatively for now without surgery – further tests will be carried out to assess the success of the treatment. Head coach José Barcala and his team will therefore be without the 19-year-old Germany international for several weels.
