Dallmann and Zadrazil recalled

Straus made two changes to his side from Sunday's routine 2-0 win at SV Werder Bremen in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga. Sarah Zadrazil and Linda Dallmann started in place of Samantha Kerr and Sydney Lohmann, who began on the bench.

Eriksson scores in first half

Bayern Women were brave from the off and created the early chances. In the seventh minute, a mix-up between defender Jade Le Guilly and goalkeeper Katarzyna Kiedrzynek almost resulted in the first goal, but the PSG custodian was able to somehow prevent the own goal. After that it was an even contest, with the visitors having the better opportunities.

Bayern were soon rewarded when Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir headed Klara Bühl's free kick perfectly across for her centre-back partner Eriksson to nod in. Six minutes later, Lea Schü

could've made it 2-0 but she couldn't direct Jovana Damnjanović's cross on target. The Bavarians therefore took a slender but deserved lead into the break.

Hard-fought second half

It was PSG who registered the first chance of the second period, but Jackie Groenen's 50th-minute free kick landed just above the goal. And three minutes later, Bayern goalkeeper Maria Luisa Grohs made a strong save from Tabita Chawinga to prevent an equaliser.

The Munich girls then became more active again and moved the ball and their opponents around well at times in an intense contest. Katharina Naschenweng's corner in the 70th minute caused danger, but Kiedrzynek managed to make a last-ditch clearance.
