Straus: “Need our best performance”
Alexander Straus: “Frankfurt are a very strong opponent. We need our best performance. It’ll be a tight game. We played them twice last season and both meetings were very even. Our performances so far this season have been solid, but we haven’t been able to shine yet. We have a very different game on Saturday. It’s a meeting of equals.”
Lea Schüller: “We know about the quality of Frankfurt’s players and know full well that they can hurt us. But we’re focusing fully on us and our game. We want to force our game on Frankfurt and win the match.”
Katharina Naschenweng: “Frankfurt are a really good opponent. They won their game during the week in the Champions League qualifiers. They’re in good form, even if they had some difficulties at the start. Frankfurt are always really dangerous. We need to be set up for their strong attack. We’re well prepared and really looking forward to the game at the Allianz.”
