FC Bayern Museum: Information, tickets, exhibitions

‘Art Works’ at the Allianz Arena

The Allianz Arena stands for art out on the pitch – and now you can also enjoy art off the pitch at FCB's home stadium. On Saturday 12 December FC Bayern München AG marketing director Andreas Jung and Israeli Consul General Dr Dan Shaham inaugurated an exhibition by Art Works – Young Israeli Art on a world tour. Around 200 pictures and 60 sculptures adorn Level 5 at the Allianz Arena.

“Creativity is as crucial for football as it is for fine art. That’s why we're delighted to offer our visitors artistic highlights with this exhibition,” said Jung on his first tour of the display. Dr Shaham was excited about the exhibition of Art Works in Munich: “FC Bayern have lots of fans in Israel. It is an honour to be guests of one of the most successful sports clubs in the world.”

The executive box level at the stadium is normally closed to the public, but interested visitors have the opportunity to admire the art on three days in the New Year. The exhibition is open to all visitors to the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt on 3 January, 24 January and 14 February 2016 (Sundays) from 10 am to 6 pm.

About “Art Works”
Art Works aims to present unique pieces of art throughout the world. The relationship with FC Bayern emerged when the project came to Munich in 2014. The creative diversity of the pieces, each of which represents Israel's openness and the joie de vivre of its inhabitants, impressed the visitors. Art in Israel is shaped by a unique geo-political situation, an influx of people from all over the world and a balance between religion and democracy.
