Corso Leopold has become an instiution in the Bavarian state capital – and when visitors from Munich, Germany and the whole world come to the heart of Schwabing to stroll around, learn and have fun, FC Bayern München will of course be there. A number of departments from the record German champions will be appearing at the famous street festival for the first time together on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September 2018.
The Allianz Arena and the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt, along with FC Bayern Basketball, FC Bayern Women and the FC Bayern Kids Club will be in attendance at the two-day festival, along with around 300,000 expected visitors. Art and culture are the focus north of Georgenstraße on the 2.3km stretch between Odeonsplatz and Münchner Freiheit, and that’s exactly where Bayern will be set up, right next to ‘Bunt kickt gut’. There’ll be all sorts of amazing and sociable activities going on for big ones and little ones, including an exhibition of items from the club’s history, a photo station, a kickabout with the FCB Women, designing basketball shirts, the Allianz Arena fanmobile and a meet and greet with Bayern mascot Berni.
The red-and-white stand promises fun, just like the whole festival. Music, art, theatre, food, politics – the whole spectrum of life comes together twice a year during Corso Leopold, but there’s always something new, just like this time with all the faces of FC Bayern.
