FC Bayern Museum: Information, tickets, exhibitions

20 years of the Allianz Arena: Beacon, Home, Stage

The FC Bayern Museum will remain closed until June 20, 2025, due to the Champions League final, the UEFA Nations League, and internal renovations. However, this period marks the anniversary of a very special event, as it was 20 years ago that a ball was kicked for the first time on the hallowed turf of the Allianz Arena during the opening match. To mark this special anniversary, a special project is being planned for all Bayern fans: the reopening of the FC Bayern Museum on June 21, 2025, will also see the launch of a new special exhibition entitled ‘20 Years of the Allianz Arena – Beacon, Home, Stage.’

From the start of the 2006 Sommermärchen (summer fairy tale) to the dramatic Finale dahoam (home final) in 2012 and the opening match of EURO 2024, footballing history has been written time and again at the Allianz Arena over the past two decades. But the stadium is also an architectural masterpiece, a landmark of the city of Munich, and the emotional home of the world's largest sports club. Against this backdrop, the planned special exhibition will now shed light on the history and stories surrounding this unique arena.

Over the past few weeks, we've been busy planning, working, installing and assembling. With selected exhibits, exclusive footage and exciting stories, visitors can look forward to an unforgettable journey through 20 years of the Allianz Arena. Access to the special exhibition is already included in the admission price to the FC Bayern Museum. Plan your next visit here !
