FC Bayern Museum: Information, tickets, exhibitions

New insights into the first decades of FC Bayern

The new FC Bayern Museum continues to take shape: The second refurbishment phase has now been completed. The additional space right at the beginning of the exhibition has been designed in line with the new concept and offers visitors an exciting overview of the historical precursors to the game of football. Following on from this, a separate area is now dedicated exclusively to the founding of FC Bayern Munich in 1900 and the people involved. This section is designed in the style of a coffee house, based on the historic founding location, Café Gisela. The early years of the club's history up to the first German championship in 1932 are the theme of the next new time booth, which, with its red and white interior design, visualises the change to the club colours that are still used today. The new concept uses graphic elements, images and reels to visualise the respective eras - allowing fans to delve even deeper into the club's history.

Closure due to refurbishment between 13 April and 22 May.

Following the completion of the second refurbishment phase, the FC Bayern Museum will continue to be modernised in stages. Further construction work is scheduled from mid-April. For this reason, the FC Bayern Museum will unfortunately be closed from 13 April to 22 May 2026 - i.e. from the end of the Easter holidays to the start of the Whitsun holidays. The Allianz Arena will remain open with Arena Tours, the FC Bayern Store and our catering facilities; you can find all relevant information on the refurbishment phase here.

We would like to apologise in advance for any restrictions caused by the construction work and extend our gratitude for your understanding!
