The team at the FC Bayern Museum is pleased to welcome you back to the exhibition after six weeks of closure! Our museum is currently being modernised and expanded in stages to offer an even more exciting and emotional visitor experience.
Since late 2025, the first sections have been shining in new splendour – and now several more are being added. Three additional themed areas dedicated to the history of FC Bayern from 1965 to 1998 have been completely redesigned, inviting visitors to relive legendary moments, major titles and unforgettable emotions in a whole new way. Following the new concept, the ‘Via Triumphalis’ has also been given a new look as a double-rowed avenue and is sure to once again become one of the exhibition’s most popular photo spots. Another highlight is our new Café Rot Weiß: here you can take a pleasant break, let your gaze wander and discover the newly redesigned treasure chamber right next door – featuring unique exhibits chronicling the history of our club.

Renovation continues
The rest of the renovation works will now be carried out in parallel with ongoing operations. According to the current schedule, the refurbishment is expected to be completed by autumn 2026 – so you can look forward to many more improvements.
The FC Bayern Museum is open daily from 10am until 6pm CEST. We apologise for any restrictions caused by the construction work and thank you sincerely for your understanding.
