FC Bayern Museum: A football experience guaranteed to give you even more goosebumps

The FC Bayern Museum has been undergoing a phased modernisation and expansion since 2025, with the aim of providing an even more exciting and emotional visitor experience. “This has significantly increased the ‘goosebumps factor’,” said museum head Petra Leufstedt. More and more areas are being given a new lease of life: in addition to the foyer, Café Rot Weiß and the treasure trove, seven themed worlds dedicated to the club’s history have now been completely redesigned. “With the newly designed themed displays, our visitors are now transported back to different periods of our club’s history at a glance, thanks to a ‘look and feel’ typical of each era. Within this setting, they can experience pure emotion, unforgettable moments and major titles in a whole new way,” explained FC Bayern brand director Thomas Glas.

Via Triumphalis now an avenue of success

Following the modernisation, one area of the museum has become more of a focus for Petra Leufstedt than ever before: “The Via Triumphalis, as the centrepiece, has now been designed as an avenue where visitors can walk through our club’s success story in an even more impressive way.” Naturally, the latest trophies from last season have already taken their place there. Work is currently underway on another highlight of the exhibition: “In the new Hall of Fame, every fan will be able to discover FC Bayern and its greatest stars through innovative, interactive and multimedia displays,” said Thomas Glas, looking ahead.
