After four years Robin Benzing has left FC Bayern Basketball as his contract has expired at the end of the season. The forward has played for Bayern since 2011 and has played all four seasons since Bayern returned to the Bundesliga.

“Robin will forever be a part of the newly found success of FCBB. That is why I wish him all the best, he will forever be a part of our team.

Benzing had some kind parting words by saying: “I want to thank everyone at FC Bayern. We had four amazing years, which is the longest I have ever been at a team for. The people at FC Bayern will forever be in my heart. I always wanted to play abroad and this is the next step in my career, the next challenge for me. I am very proud and thankful to be part of such an amazing project.
