Müller equals Lahm's record but will miss with suspension
A bittersweet evening for Thomas Müller. The native Bavarian made his 105th Champions League appearance, drawing level with FCB record holder Philipp Lahm, but saw the first straight red card in his pro career. The only time Müller had been previously sent off was in the 2009/10 group match against Girondins Bordeaux, when he was shown the yellow-red card. He will miss the last sixteen first leg in February 2019.
