The deputy vice-president Walter Mennekes hit the nail on the head. The exhibition, which tells the stories of the victims of Nazism at FC Bayern, at the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust runs to 30 September.

The commitment of the German record champions to opposing racism found recognition by the American Jewish Committee (AJC): "The fact FC Bayern use their enormous recognition around the globe to fight anti-Semitism is exceptional and should serve as inspiration for other sports teams to use their platforms for social justice," said Scott Edelman, Regional President of the AJC in his speech at the opening event.
