Bayern currently has three days off from training, a unique luxury in this long season. On the weekend, they already resume work for the next task, which couldn't be more difficult: Next Friday (February 21st, 20:30), the EuroLeague title favorite, Turkish champion and leader of the standings Anadolu Efes Istanbul, will be making a guest appearance at the Audi Dome.
Last year's finalist is currently three wins ahead of rival Real Madrid and FC Barcelona in the premier class - and in guard Shane Larkin they have the most outstanding player of the league. Most recently, the top scorer (22 ppg) was four times in a row gamedayMVP - setting a new record. Efes was even able to win the top game at defending champion ZSKA (82-80). Their last victory at ZSKA was in March 1999.
In the first matchup Bayern had no chance and lost 104-75. The star team around coach Ergin Ataman and German center Tibor Pleiss (9 ppg) has been able to survive without center Bryant Dunston, who has been missing due to a foot injury, since November. Guard Vasilije Micic, who injured his calf, will probably not be available for this game in Munich. Without him, Efes had to endure their first loss last weekend: In the Cup quarter-finals, the defending champions surprisingly lost 81-71 to local rival, Darussafaka Istanbul.

Derrick Williams returns with Fenerbahce on March 20th
Efes' city rival Fenerbahce Istanbul recently reached the Final Four for the Turkish Cup (14.-16.2.) - and can will soon also visit the Audi Dome! On Friday, March 20th (20:30), there will be a reunion with Derrick Williams. The US forward from last year's Munich championship team has played a big role for the team of coaching legend Zelko Obradovic despite Feners' considerable problems at the beginning of the season.

Top BBL game against second-place Ludwigsburg is set for Tuesday, April 7th
In the Bundesliga, the leader of the standings will play their next home game against cup finalist Oldenburg who are led by Braydon Hobbs and Robin Amaize on (Sunday, March 1st - 18:00). Meanwhile, the league has fixed the remaining gamedays starting with the family game against Mitteldeutscher BC on Sunday, April 5th at 15:00. Two days later, on Tuesday, April 7th (20:30), the BBL top game of Bayern against Ludwigsburg will take place.

A new date has been set for the road game at the Telekom Baskets Bonn: Thursday, April 23rd, 19:00. The FCBB will conclude the main round on Sunday, May 2nd (20:30) with a top duel of two title contenders at Alba Berlin.
