Fifty-one days after the final competitive match of the 2021/22 campaign, FC Bayern begin preparations for the new season on Monday 4 July. At the official start of pre-season training at Säbener Straße, head coach Julian Nagelsmann will welcome the first group of players including Dayot Upamecano and Sven Ulreich. The players who were on international duty in June, as well as the new signings, will join training in the days after.
Free live stream on Monday
Unfortunately, due to building work at Säbener Straße, the first sessions cannot be open to the public. However, the whole of Monday’s training will be streamed live for free on fcbayern.com, YouTube and Facebook. There’ll also be further live streams of training sessions throughout the month.
Medical tests and performance diagnostics
Before the first players take to the pitch on Monday, they’ll undergo medical tests and performance diagnostics at the weekend. We’ll also be there for you, bringing you news, images and insights from behind the scenes - so keep an eye on our channels over the weekend!
