Just one week after FC Bayern’s 5-0 success at home to Viktoria Plzen, the two sides meet again on Wednesday (21:00 CEST) on Matchday 4 of the Champions League group stage. Julian Nagelsmann’s side are looking to continue their 100 percent record of three wins from three games so far in Europe, and put one foot in the round of 16. Bayern enjoyed a 5-0 success at home to Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League last Tuesday.

With the 5-0 victory in the first match last Tuesday, Bayern set a new Champions League record. The German record champions are now unbeaten in 31 group games in Europe’s premier club competition - something no team have ever managed before.
3. FCB on verge of another record
And they could break another record on Wednesday! The Bavarians have won each of their last 10 Champions League group games, a run that only Real Madrid (twice) and Barcelona have previously achieved. No one has yet managed 11 consecutive wins in the competition.
4. Sané in scintillating form
Leroy Sané continued his impressive Champions League form with a brace in the last match against Plzen.
Leroy Sané has been directly involved in 16 goals in his last 13 Champions League appearances (10 goals, six assists). The Bayern winger has also found the net in all three matches this season, scoring four goals in total, which puts him second only to Erling Haaland (five) in the top scorers list.
5. Bayern strong on their travels
Bayern won 2-0 at Inter Milan in their only UCL away outing so far this season.
Bayern have lost just one of their last 24 away outings in the Champions League (last season at Villarreal). They’ve also netted an average of 1.7 goals per away game in Europe’s premier club competition (231 goals in 133 matches). Out of the teams who have contested at least 50 away matches in the competition, only Manchester City (1.8) boast a better figure,
