FC Bayern players take delivery of new company cars from Audi

The German record champions are hitting the road in their new electric company cars! On Wednesday, the players took delivery of their vehicles for the coming year from automotive partner and shareholder Audi. The successful partnership with the Ingolstadt car manufacturer has been running since 2002 - and to mark the 20th anniversary, the new all-electric premium models were handed over under very special circumstances this time:

Instead of being handed over at the company's headquarters as usual, Manuel Neuer and Co. took delivery of the vehicles at Säbener Straße. 28 Audi employees took care of the transfer from Ingolstadt, and after meeting the players they were treated to a meet and greet with FC Bayern board members Oliver Kahn and Andreas Jung as well as an exclusive tour of the training grounds by Giovane Élber.

Kahn: "A reliable partner for over 20 years"

FC Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn: "FC Bayern is delighted to have had Audi as a reliable partner at its side for over 20 years now. We are united by the permanent pursuit of perfection and consistent forward thinking, for example on the subject of sustainable mobility. The common goal is to stay on the road to success together with Audi in the future."

With immediate effect, FC Bayern players and officials will be using the all-electric premium models Audi RS e-tron GT* or Audi Q4 e-tron* and Audi e-tron Sportback as company cars. The Audi RS e-tron GT* FC Bayern concept was also present at the vehicle handover with a unique anniversary design to mark the 20th anniversary of the partnership. The design stretches across the front and roof like an "anniversary jersey" - with the FC Bayern Munich club crest as the finishing touch on the rear. Each season is honoured as a highlight in its own right, framed on a diamond-look timeline in contrasting red on a black background.
