Head up and into the top corner - that's how to do it! In FC Bayern's final Champions League group game against Inter Milan at the start of November, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting went for goal with around a quarter of an hour left and lashed the ball into the top left corner from a good 20 metres out. The strike didn't just wrap up the 2-0 final scoreline and a sixth win in six games in this UCL season, but also sent a ripple around the Allianz Arena. It's not every day that you see such a brilliant goal, even at FCB's home stadium.
Choupo earns over a third of the votes
Fans of the German record champions agreed and voted Choupo-Moting's effort as the FC Bayern Goal of the Month for November, with the Cameroon international receiving 38% of the votes. Second place went to Jamal Musiala (26%) for his skilful opening goal in the 6-1 win over Werder Bremen, while Carolin Simon's wonderful free-kick in the 7-0 DFB Cup win at MSV Duisburg came third (17%).
