Here's how Bayern's players fared for their national teams

In seven international matches involving Bayern players on Tuesday, there was just one defeat. This was for the German national team in a friendly against Belgium - despite a goal from Serge Gnabry. Read our round-up to find out how Sadio Mané, Alphonso Davies & Co got on with their teams:

After the 2-0 win against Peru, a poor start cost Germany in their second friendly as they went down 3-2 to Belgium. The Red Devils, coached by ex-Bundesliga boss Domenico Tedesco, raced into a two-goal lead inside the first 10 minutes through goals from Yannick Carrasco and Romelu Lukaku. Niclas Füllkrug’s penalty shortly before half-time reduced the deficit for Hansi Flick’s men. Kevin De Bruyne then made it 3-1 to the visitors after 78 minutes, before Bayern forward Serge Gnabry netted from close range. Gnabry, captain Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka started in Cologne, although Goretzka was forced off after 32 minutes. “My feeling is good. I twisted my ankle because I got the ball caught under my feet, but it should be fine for Saturday,” said the midfielder after the game.

Croatia remain unbeaten in Group D of EURO 2024 qualifying after a 2-0 success in Turkey on Tuesday night. Mateo Kovačić scored both goals for Zlatko Dalić's side in the first half. Bayern right-back Josip Stanišić played the full 90 minutes in Bursa. The result moved the World Cup and Nations League semi-finalists above Turkey in the group.

Second qualifier for Switzerland, second win - and second clean sheet for Bayern goalkeeper Yann Sommer. The Nati followed up the 5-0 win in Belarus with a 3-0 victory at home to Israel. Ruben Vargas (39'), Zeki Amdouni (47') and Silvan Widmer (52') were on the scoresheet for the Swiss, who are now level on points with Romania at the top of Group I.

It was also a successful evening for Alphonso Davies and the Canadian national team. Coach John Herdman's side defeated Honduras 4-1 in Group C of the CONCACAF Nations League and therefore progressed to the finals, which will take place in Las Vegas in June. Cyle Larin (8', 11'), Jonathan David (49') and Jonathan Osorio (86') were the scorers for Canada, with Jorge Benguché netting the consolation goal for Honduras (73'). Davies was on the field for 76 minutes.

Mazraoui's Morocco in goalless draw

The surprise package of the last World Cup, Morocco, could only manage a 0-0 draw in a friendly against Peru in Madrid. FCB right-back Noussair Mazraoui played 81 minutes in his familiar position.

Mané's Senegal beat Mozambique

Sadio Mané and Senegal made it four wins out of four games in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying. Boulaye Dia was the match-winner for the Lions of Teranga in Mozambique with his 18th-minute strike. Mané played the full match up front. The win leaves the Senegalese already eight points clear at the top of Group L.

France U19 miss out on EURO qualification

Despite a 4-2 win over Romania, the French U19 side have failed to qualify for this year's Under-19 EURO. Bayern striker Mathys Tel didn't feature in the final match. Norway won all three games in Group 1 and go through to the final tournament.
