A scan has revealed that Dayot Upamecano suffered a muscle injury in his left hamstring during FC Bayern's Bundesliga match against SC Freiburg on Sunday, putting him out of action for the time being. However, fellow centre-back Matthijs de Ligt has taken another step on the road to recovery: the Dutchman, who's been battling a knee problem recently, began running on the pitch again on Tuesday.
