Bayern players called up by their national teams

It's international time again for the majority of the Bayern first-team squad in October. fcbayern.com has rounded up which players have been selected for their country's national team.

Germany: Goretzka, Kimmich, Sané, Musiala, Müller

Leroy Sané and Co ended a poor run with a 2-1 win over France during the last international break.

New Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has included a five-man Bayern contingent in his first squad. Leon Goretzka, Joshua KimmichThomas Müller, Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sané are heading on a USA tour for two friendlies against the United States on 14 October (21:00 in Hartford) and against Mexico on 18 October (2:00 in Philadelphia).

France: Coman

Kingsley Coman and France lost in a friendly against Germany last time out, but are on course in EURO qualifying.

Kingsley Coman is in the French team, who are well on course in qualifying for EURO 2024 with five wins from five games. Les Bleus now face their toughest test of the group away to second-placed Netherlands on Friday 13 October (20:45 in Amsterdam), before hosting Scotland in a friendly in Lille on 17 October (21:00). Dayot Upamecano withdrew due to injury.

England: Kane

London-born Harry Kane will play twice at his home Wembley Stadium.

England captain Harry Kane can look forward to a Wembley double-header. First up for the Three Lions is a friendly against Australia on 13 October (20:45), before Gareth Southgate's men meet holders Italy in EURO qualifying in a repeat of the 2021 European Championship final (17 October, 20:45). England lead their qualifying group with 13 points from five matches, ahead of the Italians (seven from four).

Austria: Laimer

Konrad Laimer (right) and Co are playing for valuable points in EURO qualifying.

Konrad Laimer and the Austrian national team are also in EURO qualifying action against Belgium on 13 October (20:45 in Vienna) and Azerbaijan on 16 October (18:00 in Baku). Ralf Rangnick's side are currently level on points with Belgium at the top of Group F with 13 points from five games.

Morocco: Mazraoui

Mazraoui Morocco

Noussair Mazraoui and Morocco have already qualified for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations.

Noussair Mazraoui and the Morocco national team play a friendly against Ivory Coast on 14 October (19:00 in Abidjan), before a clash with Liberia in qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations on 17 October (21:00 in Agadir). Morocco have already qualified for the tournament and a point will be enough to seal top spot in the group.

South Korea: Minjae Kim

Minjae Kim South Korea

The South Korea team, featuring Minjae Kim, will play two friendlies in October.

Minjae Kim has been selected by South Korea for their two friendlies against Tunisia on 13 October (13:00 in Seoul) and Vietnam on 17 October (13:00 in Suwon).

Canada: Davies

Alphonso Davies is back with the Canadian national team for the first time since the 2-0 loss to USA in the Concacaf Nations League final.

Alphonso Davies and the Canadian national team play just once, going up against Japan in an away friendly on 13 October (12:35 in Niigata).

France U21: Tel

Mathys Tel, FC Bayern

Mathys Tel has been promoted from the U19s to the U21s for France.

Mathys Tel has been called up by France U21 for the first time. The French youngsters first travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina in qualifying for the 2025 U21 EURO (13 October, 18:30 in Sarajevo), before facing Cyprus in Grenoble on 17 October (18:30). France won their first qualifier 4-0 against Slovenia in September.

Germany U20: Krätzig

Frans Krätzig also featured for Germany U20 in September - here in a 1-1 draw in Poland.

Fresh from signing his first professional contract with Bayern, Frans Krätzig joins up with the German U20 side for two friendlies. The DFB youngsters play Portugal in Leiria on 13 October (16:00) before locking horns with Czech Republic in Dreieich three days later (18:00).
