This man is just cleaning up at the moment. Harry Kane has made it a hat-trick of FC Bayern Player of the Month awards with the December title. The English star striker received 45 percent of the votes cast by fans of the German record champions, ahead of Thomas Müller (14%) and Aleksandar Pavlović (6%).
Four goal contributions in four games
Harry Kane scored a brace in the home game against VfB Stuttgart.
Kane notched three goals, one assist and a number of records in the final month of 2023. His three strikes in the Bundesliga saw him already equal the tally of goals and assists set by Randal Kolo Muani last season. The Frenchman had 26 goal involvements to his name after 34 matchdays – it took Kane less than half the campaign to reach that figure (21 goals, five assists).
As well as his sublime curler in the 2-1 victory at Wolfsburg, which was also crowned FC Bayern Goal of the Month, the England captain scored a brace in the 3-0 win over Stuttgart, his only home appearance in December. He also set up the only goal in the final Champions League group game at Manchester United. The striker has carried his excellent form into the new year and was back among the goals in the 3-0 win against Hoffenheim last weekend in the first match after the winter break.
