With two days to go before the Bundesliga top of the table clash at Bayer 04 Leverkusen, head coach Thomas Tuchel was able to welcome another player back to full training at FC Bayern. Minjae Kim joined his teammates at the training pitch at Säbener Straße for the first time this year. The central defender returned to Munich the day before from the Asia Cup.
Neuer and Laimer in light training
After slight knee problems at the start of the week, Manuel Neuer was again able to train on his own on one of the neighbouring pitches. Before that, Konrad Laimer completed circuits of the training ground for the first time since his calf injury two weeks ago. And Serge Gnabry (groin) and Daniel Peretz (knee) also continued their individual programmes in the morning session.
New signing Bryan Zaragoza (flu) missed training in addition to the quartet. And the players in rehab, Kingsley Coman, Alphonso Davies, Tarek Buchmann and Bouna Sarr, were also absent.
Dayot Upamecano and Joshua Kimmich returned to full training on Wednesday:
