This new signing has really made his mark! Michael Olise has worn the shirt of the German record champions since the summer and has already captured the hearts of FC Bayern fans with his impressive displays. In September in particular, the young Frenchman really stepped up and has therefore been voted by FCB supporters as their Player of the Month.
Olise with almost 39% of votes
Olise was directly involved in seven goals (five goals, two assists) in his five competitive appearances over the past month alone. His display at Werder Bremen, where the winger had a hand in four of Bayern's five goals in a 5-0 drubbing, was particularly unforgettable. The 22-year-old also made his debut in the Champions League in September – and in style. In the 9-2 victory over Dinamo Zagreb, he became the first Frenchman since Thierry Henry in 1997 to net a brace in his first match in Europe's premier club competition.
With these numbers, Olise was the clear winner among the Bavarians' fan base, picking up nearly 39 percent of the votes for the Player of the Month. Jamal Musiala (17%) and Aleksandar Pavlović (9%) came second and third respectively. Keep it up, Michael!
