The FC Bayern players who are in the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals with their national teams discovered their opponents on Friday lunchtime. The draw in Nyon, Switzerland paired Germany against Italy, France against Croatia, Spain against Netherlands and Portugal against Denmark. During the international break just gone, Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sané were in action for Germany, while Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano and Kingsley Coman represented France. João Palhinha was included in the Portugal squad but had to withdraw due to injury. Bryan Zaragoza, who's currently out on loan to CA Osasuna, got some minutes for Spain and scored his first international goal.
Final on 8 June 2025 – venue to be confirmed
The last eight will battle it out over two legs on 20 and 23 March 2025 to go through to the 'Final Four'. The semi-finals are set for 4 and 5 June, with the final taking place on 8 June. The semi-finals and final are one-legged matches and will be held in a host country, which is yet to be decided. The German Football Association has declared its interest.
Promotion and relegation decisions
The competition's play-off pairings were also drawn on Friday. Among them, Austria and Konrad Laimer face Serbia for a place in League A. These ties will also be played in March.
