With their 4-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend, FC Bayern reached another milestone and have now scored 100 goals in 36 competitive matches this season. Vincent Kompany's side bagged no less than 69 of them in the 23 Bundesliga matchdays so far - only Bayern themselves have surpassed this in the competition's history, when they were on 74 goals at this point in the season four years ago. The men from Munich will now also be looking to prove their hunger for goals in their next match at VfB Stuttgart this Friday evening (20.30 CET). Get more key facts and stats on the game here.
Record winners vs. Stuttgart

The most recent encounter with VfB Stuttgart also ended in a 4-0 win for Bayern, thanks in part to a Harry Kane hat-trick. It meant Bayern celebrated their 70th win in their 111th Bundesliga encounter with their rivals (22 draws, 19 defeats). In the history of the competition, no other team have won as many games in a particular fixture. Incidentally, the southern clash also attracts an exceptionally high number of fans. So far, 6,150,778 spectators have watched the games - a record in the Bundesliga.
Bayern on an impressive run
FC Bayern are currently in terrific form in the race for the title and have picked up 25 of a possible 27 points from their last nine Bundesliga matches - the only one they didn't manage to win was against rivals Leverkusen (0-0). With 58 points from their first 23 games, the men from Munich are now enjoying their best Bundesliga season in seven years; in 2017/18, they had an even better 59 points.

Impenetrable goal
The Bayern attack isn't the only thing that's working at the moment - the defence is also solid. In the game against Frankfurt, the men from Munich stopped the opposition from scoring for the 12th time in the league this season. That means they've already kept more clean sheets than in the whole of last season (11).
Musiala on track for a new record
With the momentum from his contract extension at FC Bayern, Jamal Musiala is on course to set a new record. He recently scored his 16th competitive goal of the season against Frankfurt, equalling his personal best from the 2022-23 campaign. The Stuttgart native turned 22 two days before the match at VfB. No other player in Europe's big five leagues has scored as many league goals as Musiala at such a young age (11).
Friday at last!
Bayern and VfB Stuttgart kick off Bundesliga Matchday 24 with Friday's game - and that could be a good omen. The German record champions have won all four of their competitive matches on this particular day of the week - in the cup at Ulm and three times in the Bundesliga. In fact, the Reds have yet to tase defeat in 12 Friday night games this season (nine wins, three draws). Long may it continue.
