Herbert Hainer, president: “The Meisterschale is coming back to Munich and FC Bayern. That was our big objective this season. Congratulations to the team and our coach Vincent Kompany and his backroom staff for winning the title in his first season. Congratulations to the entire board and our sporting management, not least our board member for sport Max Eberl and sporting director Christoph Freund, who have both won the Bundesliga for the first time. This title is reward for our top-class work.”
