Thomas Müller has been synonymous with FC Bayern like no other player for many years. In May, the club legend played his last few Bundesliga matches in the jersey of the German record champions and once again proved his incomparable worth. This was also recognised by the Bayern fans, who chose Müller as their Player of the Month.
Three appearances and the league title
Müller was in the starting XI for each of the final three Bundesliga games against RB Leipzig (3-3), Borussia Mönchengladbach (2-0) and TSG Hoffenheim (4-0), and helped the men from Munich to clinch the league title. It was the 13th time the Bayern veteran had hoisted the Meisterschale – a record!
Müller Player of the Month for the second time
Müller received 39.5 per cent of the votes cast, putting him well ahead of Michael Olise (32.7%) and Harry Kane (5.2%). It’s the number 25's second FC Bayern Player of the Month win of the 2024/25 season, following his award in August 2024. Jamal Musiala and Olise lead the rankings with three awards each.
