A picture-perfect strike. Viviane Asseyi connected with a cross from the right with an overhead kick to make it 2-0 for the FC Bayern Women's team. The wonderful goal from the 28-year-old French player in the 6-0 win for the FCB team against FC Köln went down really well with the supporters of the German record champions. They voted it the FC Bayern Goal of the Month for March.

The wonder goal from Asseyi was celebrated in style by her teammates.
The strike was also named Goal of the Month by the ARD Sportschau. In the vote by the FCB fans, Asseyi secured an overwhelming majority of 59.4% and she is the second member of the Bayern Women's team to win the coveted trophy following on from Lina Magull in last month's vote. Second place went to Thomas Müller’s goal in the 7-1 victory over FC Salzburg in the Champions League (16%), with Robert Lewandowski (10.7%) third with his goal in the 1-1 draw at Hoffenheim.
