Lena Oberdorf is in Munich! Last week, the new signing started her preparations for the 2024/2025 season with FC Bayern Women. The 22-year-old is looking forward to the "new challenge" and FC Bayern are delighted to "bring one of the most talented players in Germany to Munich", according to Bianca Rech, director of FC Bayern Women. European Championship qualification and the Olympics
Before the 22-year-old starts the campaign with FC Bayern Women, she'll be in action with the German national team. First off, they face Iceland and Austria in the European Championship qualifiers, with Horst Hrubesch's team having already qualified for the tournament. On 25 July, Germany then kick off their 2024 Olympic Games participation with a match against Australia in Paris.
