Great atmosphere at Women’s open training

After last Friday’s 6-2 victory over RB Leipzig, FC Bayern Women opened the gates of their training ground to spectators for the first time this season on Wednesday. On a sunny autumn day in Munich, almost 100 fans took the opportunity to watch the Frauen train live. After a good session, there was plenty of time to fulfil the selfie and autograph requests of the fans who had made the trip. Mia, the Women’s mascot, was also there to actively support the team.

Sarah Zadrazil: “Open training sessions are a great thing. After all, it's not a given that almost every one of our home games is sold out and that the fans also accompany us to away games. This allows us to give something back to our fantastic supporters and show our mutual appreciation.”

Preparing for Hoffenheim clash

After the warm-up, the players got down to business with various drills. Alexander Straus’s team will face a tough test in the still nascent Bundesliga season on Monday when the defending champions face Hoffenheim. Tickets for the match at the FC Bayern Campus are still available here.
