Bayern training

Bayern’s aim coming into this game is to reach the semi-finals.

“DFB cup is very important for us”

Alexander Straus: “The mood in the team is very good. Our final training session was excellent. The girls are very pleased to be back together and preparing for the next game after the break. We’re facing a top team from the second division in Carl Zeiss Jena, who are in very good form. We need our best performance. We’re ready for that.”

Jovana Damnjanovic: “We’re all happy to be back in Munich again. The mood is excellent, and training has been great. We’ve scored a lot of goals, which gives us a good feeling for the cup game. We know it’ll be a tough match. Jena are up there in the second division. We’re expecting them to be battling in the game and trying to keep us at bay for as long as possible. Our clear goal is to win and advance to the semi-finals.”
