Latest news from Bayern
Bayern made it 12 Bundesliga wins in a row with Monday’s 1-0 victory at Jena, as Michelle Ulbrich left it late in the 89th minute. It was the defender’s first goal for the club and a vital one as the team look to finish their double-winning campaign on a high, with the Bundesliga title wrapped up and last week’s DFB Cup triumph over Bremen in the bag thanks to Lea Schüller’s hat-trick in Cologne.
The Munich Frauen now have the chance to make it 13 league wins in a row and complete a perfect second half of the season on the day they receive the Meisterschale for the third year in a row.

Opponent: Essen
Essen have enjoyed a decent campaign, ensuring top-flight survival for another year early and therefore going into the final game of the season with no pressure in ninth place. They drew 0-0 at home to Freiburg last time out.
Bayern have won their last 11 meetings with Essen, most recently a 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture in December. Pernille Harder scored in the first half before Georgia Stanway fired the second into an empty goal from near the halfway line in added time.
Team news
Straus remains without Stanway, Lena Oberdorf and Katharina Naschenweng for his final match in charge. All three are back training but not yet available.
